I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I’m joining my university radio station’s film programme ‘The Ripped Ticket Show’ soon- so you’ll be able to hear me review films as well as reading my thoughts and musings about them on here. The 5th year of the blog really is shaping up to be a corker, and not only that, I get to work alongside an extremely talented co-host in the form of the show’s resident button-presser Mr. Carver- and he writes reviews too, you can check them out by heading to the show’s Facebook page. It’s a film show for movie fans, by movie fans, so hopefully you guys can join us every week.

You’ll be able to listen to the show from 2pm GMT every Friday here, and there will be no change to the way we do things here on TheJackSmit.com, you’ll still get First Takes every week, the occasional Projection Room article and many more things as we build up to the big 5th anniversary celebrations in June. This is only the first of many big things to come, so stay tuned. We’re going all in.
