First Take: Star Wars: The Force Awakens 3D- just let it in

Spoiler free as usual. Because I will get force choked if I even say anything.

SYPNOSIS: Three decades after the Empire’s defeat, a new threat arises in the militant First Order. Stormtrooper defector Finn and spare parts scavenger Rey are caught up in the Resistance’s search for the missing Luke Skywalker.

Wow. What a film. JJ Abrams has given us the film that many people have waited for since 1999. The story is brilliant, but I’m not going into detail purely to satisfy people who haven’t seen it yet. The performances are superb, with John Boyega and Daisy Ridley proving their worth alongside veterans Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. The cinematography is beautiful, the score needs only 2 words: John Williams, the VFX is top notch, and the 3D conversion has been done really well. I hope that Rian Johnson can make something as good as this for Episode VIII.
