First Take: Trainwreck- everyone fell in love with Amy Schumer

Plot in simpler terms- based on Schumer’s stand up material as she writes an article on (and falls in love with) a sports doctor

Comedy perfection is the best way to describe this film. Any Schumer has written a belter, with every joke getting a perfect response. Judd Apatow’s direction is also good, with Jon Brion’s score being minimal and basic- just what the film needs. All of the performances are good, with John Cena actually playing a brilliant role. This could be a surprise hit for Universal.
