First Take: Avengers Assemble- PUNY GOD.

Plot in simpler terms- Marvel’s main heroes come together to take down Loki from the Thor movies

Avengers. A film that 2 years ago I loved to hate. Not anymore. Joss Whedon has taken the word Marvel to a whole other meaning. Everyone in this film delivers a brilliant performance- I do have to single out Robert Downey Jr for particular mention as he is just perfect as Iron Man. The narrative is confusing, but if you’ve seen the other movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it’s easy to follow. Alan Silvestri’s score is brilliant and as usual Marvel have done the impossible- make a superhero movie appealling to the masses. Now we have to wait for Age of Ultron…
