First Take: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes- APES NOT KILL

Plot in simpler terms- Follows up from 2011’s Rise: Caesar and the apes have to make peace with the humans while a select few want to kill.

I am speechless. They’ve pulled off a sequel with ease. Wow. Andy Serkis playing Caesar made the film truly lifelike, and the supporting cast (for which the lead female has a very close resemblance to a friend of mine) took the visual feast to another level. It was easy to follow and I won’t be surprised if there are several award wins next year. A new franchise has truly been born.
