FIRST TAKE- X Men: Days Of Future Past- Stuff just got real in 1973...

Let the Summer Blockbuster season begin.

Plot in simpler terms- Wolverine has to travel to the past to save the future from Mystique with the help of Professor X’s and Magneto’s younger selves.

Well, as I write this just minutes after returning from Blackburn for this film my mind cannot comprehend how mind-blowing it was. The scale of it all was massive with many scenes nearly wrecking both the screen and sound system. The cast led by Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart was brilliant as ever but I found the film very hard to follow. Then again, it was either this or Godzilla (it’s all for a bet with one of my teachers) and my film picking team went for this. Overall, a very good film, and make sure you stay back at the end of the credits for a little scene that sets up the next film due in 2016.
