First Take: Muppets Most Wanted- Reach out and Touch The Frog...

SYNOPSIS: 

While on a grand world tour, The Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit the Frog look-alike and his dastardly sidekick.

For a preview screening I had high hopes but Muppets Most Wanted was a hit/miss affair. Some jokes worked and some didn’t, but Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey (the human leads) kept the film together neatly. However, Bret McKenzie of Flight of The Concords (who was in charge of the original songs) has written some very catchy and addictive numbers much like he did in 2011’s original Muppets film for which this one is based. See this only if you’re a die-hard Muppets fan.
